Hey friends! Today is a huge, wild day for me. My FIRST TRADE NOVEL releases into the world. Yes, I’ve written many novels for Love Inspired suspense, but those are category length. This book is a longer more complex book and a psychological thriller. It’s been a dream come true and a percolating story idea for over a decade, so I’m beyond excited to see it published.
I guess I should thank my late grandma for inspiring me. She used to tell me nursery rhymes before bed. The last one she’d tell was Wee Willie Winkie. And you better believes that bad boy makes into the book!
I do hope you’ll celebrate today with me. If you’ve read the book, please leave a review! If you haven’t read it yet, you can purchase it at any online retailer in eBook, paperback or audio. And you can nab it at any brick-and-mortar bookstore like Barnes &Noble, Books-A-Million, and even at your local Walmart!
A cool thing was I got to choose which narrator I wanted for the audio version. They were all great so it was hard to choose, but in the end I went with Lisa Flanagan.
If you have a bookclub, this would make a great bookclub read and I have Bookclub Extras including discussion questions under by BookClub tab on my website. Contact me and I’d love to Zoom in with y’all or if you’re local, drop in and chat.

I have lots of Fave Murder shows, but Shetland is one of my fave.
I like watching Cold Case but Bones is my favorite.

Law & Order
Not really. But I’d love to see a movie made of Her Darkest Secret that I’d watch in the middle of the day with my husband nearby!
I love Murder She Wrote….!
My favorite murder mystery show would be Murder, She Wrote. I also liked Diagnosis: Murder.
I love Diagnosis Murder
This sis a really great giveaway!
Don’t watch much TV. Books are my choice for murder mysteries, especially yours & other LIS.
Happy release day!!
I so wish I could come visit you at your book signing. That would be so fun! As for what my favorite Murder mystery show is, it’s called Death in Paradise, a British show on Britbox streaming. It’s quirky, fun, and clean (yes, even though there’s murder LOL), with fantastic characters. Well worth scoping out a free trial from Britbox and watching a few (or more!) episodes! (No, I don’t work for Britbox…I’m just obsessed with British murder shows) 😃
Woohoo! Congratulations!!!
I don’t watch TV 🙂
Love Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder and Miss Fisher’s mysteries
I forgot to mention Miss Fisher. I love those as well.
I love your books!
I love Murder She Wrote and Cold Case.
Murder She Wrote.
We subscribe to AcornTV (British and foreign film/TV shows) and there’s a show on there called “Mr. & Mrs. Murder”. It’s about a married couple who clean up after crime scenes and inevitably solve the murder. So fun! I also like Murdoch Mysteries, and the old crime shows like Diagnosis Murder, Murder She Wrote, Columbo, Matlock, Magnum P.I.,Hart to Hart, etc.
I’m so excited for you new book Jessica! Congrats on the release!
Thank you for the giveaway chance.
I do too!
Law and Order SVU and practically any show on the ID channel. What a fun giveaway prize.🔎📚☺️ Thank you!!
Perry Mason.
I watch so many. lol. But mainly British ones!
I haven’t watched any lately but I liked Monk. I like some humor along with the mystery.
We love Death in Paradise and Father Brown and Murdoch Mysteries.
I watch all kinds: Forensic Files, Cold Case, Unsolved Mysteries, Midsommer Murders, and so much more lol
There are so many mystery shows that I love, as Suspense and Historical are my top favorite genres! To name a few of my favorites; Criminal Minds, Castle, Murdoch, Murder She Wrote, Rizzoli and Isles, Rosemary and Thyme…then there’s the Hallmark Mysteries that are pretty good. I actually just started watching some of Not Robert’s movies, and love them! Have never read her books though. Your giveaway looks wonderful. I’m sorry I missed your Facebook party.
Edit* that should say Nora Roberts. 😜
A few other good ones are Miss Fisher, and spin off to Murdoch: Frankie Drake. Oh Dr Blake is so good too. I could go on and on!
Congratulations on the new release. I don’t have a favorite.
I love Murder She Wrote
Diagnosis Murder and Murder She Wrote were two of my favorites. I now watch a lot of shows on the ID channel of solving murders.
When I watched TV, it was Criminal Minds.
I kinda liked Columbo, even though the audience knew the culprit beforehand. It was fun to watch him figure it out.
Criminal Minds, and Law and Order SVU
I love the Aurora Teagarden series on Hallmark.
I love Miss Fisher Murder Mystery and Midsummer Mystery. Thanks for the chance.
My favorite was probably Criminal Minds, which is not on anymore
Murder She Wrote
I love Murder She Wrote, Thanks.
I love Bones!
Colombo, Perry Mason, Matlock etc

Okay, the TV show I think of is Blacklist.
But we also have watched many others like . . . The Equalizer, Numbers, Person of Interest, the original NCIS, and a few more that I can’t remember off the top of my head.
Guess I’m old school because I love Murder She Wrote, Monk, Perry Mason and those type whodunits.
Criminal Minds….oh, yeah. That’s my favorite….
