control of Lexi Matthew’s mind, putting those closest to her in grave danger.
When someone snakes
into Lexi’s head and threatens Jack’s life at Lexi’s own hand, she must quickly
decide: leave Jack and the web of lies and controversial medical science behind
in order to protect him, or stay and fight to regain control of her own mind
but risk Jack’s life.
Before Lexi can
choose, she’s immersed into the underground world of the International
Intelligence Agency, where she discovers the world of cloning and mind control
is much larger than she and Jack ever imagined and is growing bigger and more
As the band of
teenage human clones uncovers more of their supernatural abilities, a dominant
force inside the IIA is at work to take over their powers. Can Lexi stop the
person who has invaded her mind before the IIA captures them all, or will she
sacrifice herself to save those she loves?

Greenville, South Carolina, and later graduated from the University of Kentucky

with a novel-writing dream.
Heather now lives
in a different small town on the other side of Lexington with her two children,
and her husband, Mike, the biggest Oregon Duck fan in the universe. When she’s
not writing or working as a CPA, she spends her time tormenting her daughter’s
cat, Olivia, and loving on her son’s Golden Retriever, Jenny. MINDSPEAK is her
first published novel.

Woohoo!! Thanks, Jessica, for the celebration post, today! I'm so very excited to release this book today for many, many reasons!!
Oh, boy, if I could jump into someone's mind for the day, see and hear everything they see and hear… it would have to be… Mary of Nazareth the day the angel Gabriel appeared to her — the day she experienced a perfect faith in what she had to do despite the gossip and ridicule that must have occurred after she was told she would be pregnant before marriage.
Okay… that was pretty deep for me. Thanks again, Jessica, for celebrating with me today!
Woohoo, happy release day, Heather! 🙂
Hmm…I think it might be fun to hop into a movie director's mind. I love thinking about stories and story-crafting, but I'm often coming at it just from a writer's perspective…movie-makers are working in such a different medium…my story-loving mind would enjoy seeing stories from that angle.
OR it'd be fun to jump into the mind of one of the guys from Coldplay or Needtobreathe…just because it'd be fun to be a rock star for a day.
I also think it would be fun to be in the mind of any of the presidents of America for a day to see who REALLY makes the decisions for any one of them.
